Buenos dias!
Ran out of kid bowls.
Then I finished this off. Was pretty full after but knew that leaving <5 bites for the next day was a very lame option. So I just did tha thang.
This is now in V’s kitchen. I’ve ordered the tomatoes with olive oil and I can verify that the chef is quite talented.
Not exactly a bargain at $9 but he assured me it was organic. 😉
My salad in real life had no tomatoes, but a ton of avo.
More avo than salad really.
Soccer!
We have all had these lingering colds for going on 3 (!?) weeks now and so as soon as I saw Jenna’s latest blog post I thought it sounded like the perfect way to flush my immune system with good.
Since the juicer was already out, I made use of it and got some beets and carrots juiced too.
I sipped on the carrot/beet juice while making dinner.
We didn’t have a huge amount of leftovers of the lasagna soup, so I saved it for the kids. Kyle got whatever they didn’t finish since he was home from work later (they had two servings each so his bowl was rather small). I made him and I Caesar salads and garlic bread, too, though.
My salad, just the way I like it, with so much dressing it’s practically lettuce soup. 🙂
Once the kids were down we zipped in and out of the hot tub between rain sprinkles and then continued the OJ show with plates of chocolate.
I haven’t dipped into the new GS cookies yet, but I’ll let you know how they are when I do try them. We only ordered one box, which may seem pathetic but I don’t really want to spend $$$$ on stuff I hardly want in the house anyway. It’s more about supporting Girl Scouts and our neighbor. I used to looooove the Caramel DeLites (aka Samoas). I know everyone else always went gaga over the Thin Mints, but those were never my scene. Caramel and coconut ALL THE WAY. The rip off was that you got, like, 10 cookies per box with those. So lame. For me, that’s basically a one serving kind of deal. No bueno.
