This is not a recipe.
It’s completely measurement-free.
Here’s the assembly in photo format…
GF cocoa rice crisp cereal
*It’s not certified gluten free, but the ingredients are GF, so the only source of gluten would be from contamination in it’s processing/production. Basically, I’m guessing Whole Foods didn’t want to pay more to get certified or use a separate factory/co-packer.
GF peanut flour + USV almond milk
And bananas.
Mashed.
Mixed.
Microwaved.
Munched. 🙂
These are the kinds of things I create for myself when my GI system is being lame and I need fodmaps friendly comfort food. See? The elimination diet isn’t too bad at all.
It looks delicious Elise. I can’t wait to get Cocoa Rice crisps now;)
yessssss
wow, i need that in my life. looks so good!
That looks so insanely good! I just wish that cereal didn’t have soy! Although it’s only soy lechtin… I have a hard time finding things that are gf and soy free!
this looks amazing. PB and cereal love each other. 🙂
Ahhhh, I’m so trying this! I need some cocoa krispies STAT!!
that looks AWESOME!
I am making this for breakfast tomorrow!!!
Hi Elise, I have been reading your wonderful blog and thought it was well over due that I say hi and let you know how much I enjoy your work!
I love that you have so many gluten-free and vegan recipes, info, etc. I have also been a long time sufferer of digestive issues and now keep them in check with a predominantly vegan and gluten free diet.
I have been dreaming of starting my own blog for a while now and finally did it the other day… would love it if you would have a look! At the moment I am worried my posts are going to no one. I am also located in Australia and we sadly do not have as thriving a blog culture as you do in America.
Nice ‘assembly’… looks mighty tasty =)
Love, Lolita
YOU ARE IN ARGENTINA?!?!?!?!?!?! i cannot even begin to explain (a) my jealousness and (b) how excited i am for your recap. eep! i hope you are having such an amazing time.
in other news, i just got caught up on all your posts. a lot of them. and i miss you! loved your post about kyle and his eating habits as well as all your FODMAPS updates. i’ve been sending those posts to my sister, who is eerily similar in her GI issues as you.
you make coconut cashew butter look delish.
i may take the plunge and try tempeh bacon because of you.
and you are seriously the queen of coming up with the most delicious meals out of stuff you already have. loves it.
have an amazing trip! let’s catch up soon please 🙂
Perfection.
Bowls like that are my ultimate comfort food, too. Glad it was easy on the tummy as well. 🙂
I make something eerily similar to this. Peanut flour, sf torani syrup, stevia, salt and puffet millet or kamut cereal. So good!
hi lolita, congrats on starting your own blog! ill be sure to check it out. thanks for reading and commenting.
