Maybe you’ve already read my Sevilla recaps (maybe you haven’t), but in any case, I thought I would compile all my research on the vegetarian options in Sevilla that I did prior to traveling there. So to those looking for veg-friendly options, here are a few places worth checking out. Enjoy!
Restaurante Almanara – Alameda de Hércules, 85, 41002 Sevilla
They have authentic Spanish cuisine in a classy setting, with options from soups & salads, to soy meatballs and seitan.
La Huelva Ocho – C/ Huelva, 8, 41004 Seville
Live flamenco with drinks and tapas (vegetarian options are indicated on the menu). Psst, they have hummus.
Habanita – Calle Golfo 3, Seville (at Plaza Alfalfa)
Casual restaurant with traditional Spanish cuisine. There’s an entire section of the menu with salads, vegetarian and vegan dishes (they indicate the difference between them). Highlights include tofu salad and oriental noodles with vegan Bolognese.
Restaurante Gaia Ecologico – Calle Luis de Vargas 4, 41001 Sevilla
Organic, sustainable, local and 100% vegetarian and vegan. Inspired and creative food with a menu that will blow your mind. Make sure you check their hours because they are closed all of August as well as on many Sundays.
La Ortiga – c/ Cristo del Buen Fin 4, Sevilla
A health food co-op with bulk goods (quinoa, whole grains, beans, etc.), veg*n products (veggie burgers), and organic fruits and vegetables.
Veganitessen – c\Pastor y Landero (in the Mercado del Arenal), 41001 Sevilla
Entirely vegan pastries galore. Read my glowing review here.
Now I only need someone to pay a trip to sevilla for me and your tips would become very handy 😀 Still thanks, I always enjoy your recaps 🙂
I’m actually surprised by how many options you found! I’m not vegan at all anymore, but I do love trying new vegan places when I’m away. There’s a few in Paris I’d really like to try…
HOW DID YOU FIND THESE PLACES?! I’ve been to a few of them but I did SO much research when I studied there for 4 months and didn’t find nearly as much as you. Guess i’ll just have to go back =]
I’ve lived in Spain for over a year and never been to Seville… though recently drove around it 🙂 I have bookmarked this page for my Seville adventure… whenever that may come. Thanks!
