Forget this Black Friday business, I’m too stuffed to function. I am actually having a hard time looking at the food photos I have from Thanksgiving…but the pictures of the kiddos…I could look at those all day. Let’s start with dessert(s). I had three times the bowl you see below. Heavy on the candied ginger. In case you were wondering, the Whole Foods on the westside have finally restocked their candied ginger supply, so this is their brand (as opposed to the Trader Joe’s kind that I’ve been hoarding for the past few months). Each day when I get to work I am assigned a cell phone with my own extension (all the nurses and care partners are). I have the phone with me for all 12 hours of my shift. Everyone has my number.
