I mentioned in this post that I went to Sasa for dinner with my family while home for the holidays. As you can see from the menu above (or clicking on the restaurant the link), their food concept is Asian Fusion with small plates to share. I love small plate menus because then you get to order a ton of things so you wind up sampling a lot. And trust me, this menu had plenty I was eyeing. In fact, the food was so freakin’ good, as a food blogger, I felt it wasn’t cool… Read more >

12/20/12 Thursday in Nor Cal started nice and lazy…for me. Kyle was up and off to San Jose for a business meeting at 7 am after only 5 hours of sleep. I didn’t have anything to do until a 1 pm date at the Walnut Creek Police Department. No, I didn’t get in trouble for anything. I figured (and was definitely correct) that it would be far easier to get an appointment to have our car seat installation checked in the suburbs of the Bay Area than Los Angeles. In continuing the two-a-day challenge,… Read more >

This weekend was just plain awesome. I don’t know what else to say. My sister came to visit. My friends threw me a baby shower. And I just felt so loved. And fortunate. Things are good. Thursday night was tree decorating and burrito bar. On Friday, my sister arrived! Hooray 🙂 While she was doing the oh-so-hideous I-5 drive, I woke up early, made breakfast (the standard egg and GF bread with Earth Balance), and read. I had a snack a little later. Kyle got the Modern Tuna Melt which has “all white Albacore tuna with fresh herbs, farm house cheddar, vegenaise, housemade pickles, red onions, tomatoes, Scarborough Farm’s greens on panini grilled buckwheat.” He nixed the pickles, obviously, and deemed it… Read more >

Well, you guys have blown me away. The comments on this post literally brought tears to my eyes…I felt so much love. I want to say thank you to every single one of you who wished us congratulations (and I will get to it…). Obviously Kyle and I are beyond thrilled and it’s been sooo hard to keep this a secret (I’m shocked nobody was on to me earlier!). I will probably blog more about the earlier pregnancy stuff in time, but for now back to regular posting… *************** Since we were away this weekend… Read more >
