My concerns for travel to South America

1. Food.  Could a country prided for it’s steakhouses be vegan friendly as well? 2. IBS.  Tied with the above, but my GI system is so sensitive there’s more to it’s “issues” than just diet.  Foreign anything (and everything) is a risk – even the act of traveling offers enough stress to induce a flare up. 3. Mega (obnoxious) Monday

Oh my goodness, it’s only the DAY after Christmas and I’m already feeling completely bombarded with weight loss programs and get-in-shape tips for the new year.  The morning news is ridiculous.  Goals for January.  Jenny Craig ads.  Low fat leftover recipes.  Help!! Who was Betsy?

There are certain phrases I find myself saying lately that make me sound like I’m 100 years old.  Or living on a farm in the 1940’s.  I don’t know how I suddenly aged 70 years but it’s kinda odd.  They aren’t even phrases that my parents said, so I have no excuse. Anyone know where the phrase “Heavens to Betsy!” comes from?  It’s pretty random when you think about it.
