In case you need some statistical (slash numerical) motivation…
This information is meant to be fun so use it however you want…but don’t make yourself crazy. It’s just food.
If you pass on pumpkin pie because it takes “26 minutes to burn off those calories” I will be semi-angry with you. But if you pass on 3rd and 4th servings of pumpkin pie because of this info, then I support your self-control.
🙂
I sort of love little facts like this. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing! While I kind of hate the guilt-tripping that goes on this time of year, I do find all the numbers and stuff really interesting. I think it’s really funny that they throw Beyonce in there though!
195 calories burnt in 1 hour of food preparation?!?! I know what my holiday workouts are going to be!
Super cute! Santa’s BMI made me giggle a bit! 🙂
Also, so glad that So Delicious Nog doesn’t nutritionally compare to the real stuff at all!!
this is hilarious and it’s motivating me to get off my butt and go running. I appreciate the disclaimer at the bottom, it is all about self-discipline.
random: have you tried Green & Black’s Espresso Dark chocolate? amazing.
Poor Santa!
This is great! Thanks for sharing!
The butter one is quite gross! THREE STICKS!!!!
Interesting graphic but I DON’T like the “lose 3-5lbs in one week” part. That fast of a weight loss is not healthy!!!
127 calories for 15 minutes of jogging…may be a little stretch according to my prior knowledge. That would be nice though! 🙂
It takes 26 minutes of what activity to burn the calories I wonder?
Good call though, everything in moderation!

HA! Love it! I swear the amount of calories that people consume on all those silly holiday coffees from Starbucks is UNREAL. I’d so much rather have the peppermint bark + wine and it would still be less than a holiday mocha…LOL
When I saw the title of this post I was like, “nooo, Elise!” because everyone is doing the “healthy through the holidays” tips. You’re one of my favourite bloggers. I’m so glad to see that you just put this image up. Much better than the standard things we’re hearing/reading about during this time of year.
I will be eating/drinking everything I want this holiday season – because I can. And I’ll think about those 26 minutes on the treadmill as I’m sitting on my couch.
Haha, this is so cute! I love it.
You definitely can’t let yourself stress over it though. The holidays (and the food involved) is meant to be enjoyed!
Haha! Santa could be a candidate for gastric bypass!
Haha. The three sticks of butter part really made me cringe.
