Standing sleeping

The kids were up really early so I got gourmet with our limited groceries and made french toast.

This bread is REALLY good by the way.  It’s like Dave’s Killer Bread (but cheaper because it’s Safeway’s name brand) and still just as high of quality.  I am considering adding Safeway to our grocery store roster after seeing all the awesome stuff the store in Lahaina had.  My parents’ Safeway is really good too and the there is actually one closer to us than TJs so I don’t know why I never shop there?!

The kids are pineapple freaks now as well.  Feelin’ that Hawaiian flava.

After I worked out I went to get this guy.

I had the crab and shrimp salad from Duke’s (again) for lunch with SO MANY chips on the side.  Like half the (family size) bag, thereby making the bag barely last three servings and all of them were eaten by moi.

Crushing chips in salads is also a super winning move if you were unaware.

Zzzzzzz.

This is the life.

I phoned in an order for take away at teppanyaki 2 go, which is a roadside teppanyaki place that never fails me.  I’ve talked about it before here.  The kids made up games with their hula necklaces while we waited to go get the food.

We got two orders to split between the four of us – scallops and fish with fried rice and steak and chicken with white rice.  The (stellar) ginger sauce was on the side.  You have to pay extra for veggies, but it’s worth it because drenching them in ginger sauce is darn good.

We didn’t have any leftovers at all, so that’s how you know it was a good meal.

Aaaaaand this is how they fell asleep.  I was laughing SO HARD when I went out to check on them before we went to bed and say her STANDING ASLEEP like this!!!
