Gonna ma e this short and sweet because the kids have no school this week and it’s makin’ me craaaaazy! How many art projects can we do in three days? I’ll let you know if I get to the end and find out.
Breakfast: Nourish bread and almond butter
Lunch: Thai steak salad
I decided to skip grocery shopping and clean out every single thing we have in the fridge before Thanksgiving, which unfortunately meant my lunch salad was made with some odds and ends of lettuce. But you know what? It was so good and I never would have combined them if I hadn’t been forced to, so I’m glad I had no other options. The rest of the salad had Nugget’s Thai dressing, avocado, celery, and these pepitas.
I managed to fit in some dinner prep during nap time. P had exhausted himself so much that morning at open gym that he acknowledged ON HIS OWN that he should take a nap instead of quiet time. The self awareness of both kids with regards to their fullness and tiredness is really impressive right now. They are surprisingly in tune with their bodies!
Dinner: Chicken Caesar salad with roasted potatoes
Mine had nooch, but everyone else’s had parmesan.
I had kombucha on the late night because I went to a movie with my stroller strides mom frands. We saw Bad Moms Christmas which is exactly how you’d expect it to be.
