I’m constantly impressed with how much variety you eat in a single week! I hit the farmers market on Sundays and then eat basically identical meals all week until I get thru it…. I should try this meal planning thing :). thanks for the inspiration!

What kind of seitan do you buy/make? My fiancé always makes our seitan, but he doesn’t do it often enough for my taste so I’d love to learn a new recipe (or a good brand to buy)!

thanks!! its the best i can do to keep my husband interested in a veggie diet. for the record, i could easily eat the same thing day in and day out.

Field roast brand is a favorite among veggies, but if you are near a trader joes save some serious $$$ and try their italian soysages and soy chorizo (refrigerated section) – some people love mornig star but its tastes soooo much like “meat” it skeeves me out (!)

Such delicous and good looking meals! Love how you are so versatile with the use of your vegetables.

i love field roast. the apple sage is AAAAMAZING. they’re expensive though, so i only buy them every once in a while. theyre the best brand to convert meat eaters though.

otherwise i just buy the tofurky ones because theyre usually on sale. i like the italian flavor the best.

it kinda varies. depends on what brands are on sale at the time usually. i try to diversify and get a different kind each time, so sometimes quinoa pasta, brown rice pasta, or oat pasta. de boles and lundberg farms are my fave brands.

totally agree about field roast. too bad its so pricey. i have GOT to get on the TJs wagon. its just not convenient to where i live, but i know its got great things at way lower prices so i just have to suck it up and commute.

    you too!

Thanks! I am definitely near a TJ’s — so I will look at these the next time I’m in the store!

I tried their chorizo veggie sausage once and I didn’t much care for it, but I don’t think I’ve tried the Italian variety.
