Uhhh…
This is what happens when you try to make overnight oats at midnight.
For the record, Justin’s nutbutter jars can’t tolerate boiling water.
Consider yourself warned.

haha this has totally happened to me before. Thankfully it didn’t melt all the way and I was still able to eat them. Perhaps not the best idea to eat out of a melting plastic jar, but I’m still living.
Oh no!!! Hahahaha I’ve only microwaved glass jars so I haven’t seen this before, but hopefully I’ll learn this lesson from you and not the hard way!
That is hilarious. I would totally do something like that 🙂
yup – that’s why i never use hot oatmeal in the plastic jars! only yogurt/cottage cheese…
Why do you add warm/hot water? I’ve only made overnight oats with cold almond milk and it works great. Huh. I didn’t know people put hot oatmeal in plastic jars, not sure I’d be on board with that.
Haha.. you can call it art 🙂
Haha It still looks tasty though!
whoopsie! that’s something i would totally do 🙂
hahahaha oh my gosh, Your poor oats! That jar is so sad and sorry looking. I hope you still got to enjoy your oats!
[Sigh] I am reminded of a similar incident with White Chocolate Wonderful.
I ate it anyway. BPA be darned.
i’m ashamed to admit it, but sometimes i will do this if i don’t have time to prepare things separately. regardless, those oats looks delicious!
Oh no! But it did give me a chuckle… 🙂
