This cd is so much FUN.  Pun intended.

Iced tea.  Can’tstopwon’tstop.

After buying a big boy at le bux, I opted to brew my own at home.  And I can’t tell you how awesome it is to start my summer mornings with a nice cool drink.  Plus almond milk and maple syrup.

Heavenly.

Home-made bread.

I eat these loaves faster than hummus.  And that’s saying something.

This sauce.  With anything and everything.

Baked potatoes.  Eggs.  Hash browns.  Toast.  Quinoa.  Pizza.  A spoon.

You name it, I’ve tried it with this stuff.  It’s been on breakfast repeat for the last week.  No shame.

remember when we used to demolish the loaves of bread from the dg kitchen? what was that bread we loved so much? cinnamon? omg. it was like a carbfest every single night. while we watched the bachelor. and sorority life. good times.

i’m also obsessed with fun. however, my absolute fave song right now is boyfriend by j. biebs. i listen to it on repeat on the train. i have problems.

so i’ve been on a mad hunt for kale chips. and i’ve noticed there are lots of different brands. i guess i’ll just have to see which one i like best. and recs?

I am all about the homemade bread right now too! There is seriously nothing better than than a thick, hearty slice that is still warm from the bread machine spread with massive amounts of butter. I’ll admit that when I throw all the ingredients in the bread machine at night before I go to bed sometimes I wake up in the early morning and slice myself a piece then go back to sleep! It just smells too good!

i have a post coming up soon with kale chips ratings. good timing 🙂

That bread looks awesome! I’ve always wanted to make my own bread, but it seems intimidating.
And I too am obsessed with iced tea. I’ve even had to start making my own because I’ve been drinking it multiple times a day.

For some reason, I have not been able to comment on your last few posts–it is strange. I will type my comment in like 3x before I get frustrated and just give up…it just disappears after I hit “submit”. Hopefully it will let me comment today!

You have posted about that sauce so many times I think I need to try it. Only problem? I can’t stand mustard! Yuck. I have never liked it, and I even tried it again last year thinking it was just something I didn’t like as a kid, and I had to spit it out, lol. I wonder if this sauce would be good without the mustard?! Or would that defeat the point, lol?

You made your own bread?? That’s awesome-does it take long? I’ve always wanted to make my own bread, but heard it takes 24 hours or something, which I guess if you planned for it like any kind of activity, it’s definitely doable. That sauce looks amazing btw. Definitely making that soon!

So jealous of your homemade bread! I’ve been dreaming about making my own bread for years but have always been so intimidated by the process- especially since I don’t have a bread maker.
I really need to just crack down and do it!

And I go through hummus like nobodies’s business. I don’t even want to know how much money I spend on the stuff. It’s my drug of choice, apparently. (:

    Some Nights IS fun. Like.

    youll love em.

not always, but often. we go through it so quickly that i make one for each one i buy so theres no overlap of breadlessness.

its DEFINITELY not a 24 hour ordeal! i have a breadmaker, so it takes me 15 minutes and then i just let it do its thing. otherwise the process is a few hours (and thats including the time of letting it rise). yeast intimidated me at first, but i promise its not scary.

no…i think the mustard makes the sauce.

thats so annoying about your comments!!! what the heck!!

  12. Courtney

VERY annoying! At least it seems to be working now…

    Hey girl,

I love your blog! It totally rocks. What’s your recipe for iced tea?? I’m totally thinking about getting into it.

  14. Elise (Post author)

i dont really have a recipe, i just add boiling water to several tea bags and let them steep until theyre dark. then i put it in the fridge overnight. the next morning i pour some over ice, add almond milk and either maple syrup or agave to sweeten.
