I recently posted this on my IG stories and it blew the minds of so many of you that I figured I’d share it here too. Did you know your instant pot lid fits in the side handle like this?

If not, you’re welcome. If so, congrats for reading the entire manual.

I had ZERO clue about what to do for dinner on this night and the instant pot TOTALLY came through. I pulled a huge piece of five mile ranch beef from the freezer which I transformed into this umami explosion with just the bare minimum in my pantry.

I wish you could taste it through the screen it was so good. Their beef is phenomenal. I swear there is a big difference. They treat their cattle really well and I like supporting a small local business.

We had it with potatoes the first night and then a week later I served it with rice.

Love an IP meal that gives me two night’s of meals. That is including second helpings too! Thank goodness I got the 8 quart pot earlier this year! I’ve been using it for corn on the cob and big cuts of meat, while the 6 quart still gets most of my love for oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, and beans.
I actually prefer the slow cooker setting over pressure cooking for oats, but otherwise I pressure cook everything lately. Who wants to heat up a kitchen in the middle of July?!
