Apple-a-holics anonymous meetings should not be held anywhere near Washington.
They should be held far far away.
I’ve been quite the produce whore lover up here in the Evergreen State…but rather than list off each fruit and vegetable like I’m talking to my niece…how about a photo montage? Yes? Ok.
And then there were veggies…
Can it please stay summer forever? I want to live off of this seasonal produce forever!
Wow, I love all that fruit! And those cases of apples- heaven! I was having serious apple withdrawal symptoms this week (it had been a whole 2 weeks without them) but luckily we are reunited 🙂
Love the fruit! I can’t get enough of summer fruits too, I could live on watermelon, peaches and cantaloupes :))
Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm 🙂
Courtney
Sooo many apples! I love it! Fruit and summer are an excellent combination.
Send some of that produce over this way, please!
Omg. Food porn. Love it 😉
I am jealous. We have been out of fresh fruit ALL WEEK. Probably the longest I’ve ever gone without eating fruit at home. Gah.
Looks like you are having a fabulous time up there. I need some raspberries and pineapple in my life now.
fruit in NYC never looks that good. i want to tag along with you in all your adventures. but all i have is this computer, with which to stalk you sadly from a distance
Gotta get it while you can, right?! 😉 A girl after my own heart. I wish I lived closer to Lancaster in PA. They have the BEST produce ever! Maybe something to do with all the Amish in the area? 🙂
HOLY. MOLY.
YUUUUUUUUUUUM!
Gotta love all the fresh produce!
Fresh fruit, fresh veggies… Seriously, Elise.
I´m jealous 😀
Yum – my mouth is watering. Luckily, its lunch time 🙂 This post also has me super excited for the farmer’s market this weekend. I just moved to Union Square in NY and (as you probably know) there’s is pretty great.
I wish it were summer year round. Maybe its time for a move…
I could totally eat fruits and veggies for every meal!!!
But where is the watermelon?! Now that is the ultimate summer fruit!
I do have a question for you- how does your stomach seem to do with coffee/caffeine? I know you love your Starbucks so obviously this isn’t an issue for your IBS? I know that I can’t go near the stuff without having a flare-up…and I work in a Starbucks!!
Oh man, I’m very sorry about that…actually it’s kinda a mystery to me too…my sister has IBS and she can’t tolerate caffeine either. I don’t think I really understand my GI tract 75% of the time, but I do know that I probably forced it to tolerate coffee due to the necessity of caffeine throughout my college days. I don’t know if tolerance can be forced but either way, I not only tolerate it fine, but crave it. It’s one of the things that settles my stomach in the morning (I literally have it first and foremost every day) and after big meals, coffee or tea are my go-to soothers. Caffeine can cause spasms, so perhaps my already spazy intestines are actually mellowed out by it?!?! HAHA. If there’s one thing having IBS has taught me, it’s to give up on finding rationale behind the irregularities of my gut. Sorry I can’t help more with that bizarre answer!
Im SOOOOO Jealous! 🙂 The produce looks amaze 😀
Everything looks great – I love Washington (and BC) apples, they are the best IMO 😀
How beautiful!! Look at all the colors!!! So yummy.
Oh my gosh, all that fresh produce looks aaaamazing!
Gorgeous fruit! Jealous of those raspberries.
AGREED. puhlease stay summer forever. even though in the winter i’m pretty sure i eat equal amounts of f’s and v’s. minus the serious amounts of corn i’ve been consuming. i just wish it was grill season forever!
I wish I lived in Washington. I always have to buy my apples at the grocery store and I wish I lived closer to an orchard where I could pick fresh apples. I am sure that those apples wouldn’t be coated in the junk that they put on apples that go to the grocery stores to keep them shiny!! 🙁
