Back from break bento ideas

Were you ready for your kids to return to school? How about packing lunches? [For anyone without kids, this post may not be relevant] I have a “bento lunches” tab on my insta account btw, where I take a photo of as many of the kids’ lunches as I remember. So if you ever want more of those, head over to my saved IG stories. In the meantime, here are a few that made there way onto my computer. So if you need some inspo, here you go! Eating out in December

Not to keep rehashing things from 2019, but I have a backlog of pics and I FINALLY got my blog back in working order. I’m not tech savvy so it’s a miracle things don’t go haywire more frequently, but ugh. It can get SO DARN complicated. Don’t get me started. Fa la la la lattes! For Christmas I got chocolate

It’s no secret, that’s for sure. In fact, it was the only thing I asked for. So now I will be jet set through 2021. Do you see that box of See’s??? That’s TWO POUNDS of chocolate. For. My. Face. Some weeks it seems like we barely eat two meals as a family. But it’s not always like that. So here are some of the meals we DID have together. Per usual, our CSA (and just my general shopping strategy) means I am making things with seasonal produce…in this case squash, pomegranates, and kale…. Read more >

Tis the season!

Ho ho ho! I love this time of year. ESPECIALLY with kids. It’s pure magic. I’m sure the novelty of cozy indoor activities will wear off long before February, but for now, I’m soaking up all the time we are doing holiday themed crafts, baking together, doing puzzles by the fire, and listening to the Frozen 2 soundtrack on repeat. Don’t worry, though. I still have plenty of things on my bucket list to tackle while the kids are on break from school… I’m thinking gingerbread, cinnamon rolls, peppermint bark…all the essentials for a holly… Read more >
