Portland’s Finest

Are you ready for this?  San Francisco to Portland…all 622 miles of it…and all the Starbucks’ in between.  Ready?  Set?  Go!   We left at 5 am and by 8:30 I was itching for some caffeine.  I quickly referenced my above map for a super quick stop and we were back on the road in no time with two coffees on board. I missed a few signs while I was getting busy with my ‘Bucks.  Pretty sure we were at least in the 300 range before it was time to stop for Starbucks numero dos. … Read more >

Monterey

Oh man, have I been living the dream!  As I previously mentioned, Kyle and I have been (blissfully) adding more mileage to our new civic this past week… We worked our way down the state, stopping in Monterey for a few days before settling in Santa Barbara for a few more. We stayed at the CUTEST B&B in Monterey called Old Monterey Inn.  Have you ever stayed at a Bed & Breakfast?  I loved everything from the decor (we were in “The Library”) to the fireplace to the happy hour (with chocolates and pistachios) to… Read more >
