Wedding bells (part two)

It’s been almost a full month now since Kyle and I tied the knot.  Wow.  Time flies when you’re…starting a new life.  If you missed the first part of the big day, you can read about it here. Now let’s see, where was I…oh right…about to walk down the aisle. How proud does my dad look?  Gah, I love him.  These pictures bring tears to my eyes even now, weeks after the actual day.  Try as I might to put my emotions into words, it’s almost an impossible task. As I was walking down the… Read more >

Cover Mate

Nope, not an earth quake drill, just my intro to an AMAZING product that I recently became obsessed with.  CoverMate Food Covers are designed for covering food with specific design details that make them a dream tool in the kitchen. This giveaway post is for anyone who loves a hassle free shortcut – it’s for moms-on-the-go, students with no time, people with no kitchen space, and/or lazy chefs.  Or all of the above.  CoverMates are quicker, easier, and greener than saran wrap because you can use them, wash them, and reuse them…over and over again. … Read more >

Adding the “r”

On August 28th, 2010, I went from a Ms. to a Mrs.  It was the best day of my life.  I wish I could share each and every moment with you all.  Hell, I wish I could relive the entire weekend myself (it went by so fast!).  There were so many intimate moments that weren’t captured on film that I will have to imprint in my mind forever.  There were several times that I had to stop and remind myself that THIS. WAS. IT. This was the moment I had been planning for the past… Read more >

Return of the Mac

I have been working furiously (ok, that’s a lie, I’m really only at about 35%) for the past day and a half to try and get Windows on my MacBook…all for the glorious blogging tool that is Live Writer.  Success!  Finally!! (I hope?) Also successful was our first go at non-Starbucks coffee making.  New coffee maker.  New coffee.  New grinder. New start to the day. Just me and my java…and a long-overdue date with this months VegNews. Love.  It’s not Kauai, but whatcanyado. Before I get ahead of myself though, I want to make sure… Read more >
