Phone peek

I average 10-1000 photos a day on my iphone but they rarely get uploaded because they automatically sync with our family google account, so as a result, the real life (people) pics are few and far between here on the blog. But I figured I’d upload a random few to give you a sneak peek into our daily life. We start the day with “school”, which doesn’t last too long, but enough time for them to tackle a few different subjects. The starters that keep on giving

Here I am again! Popping in to show some pics along with a few related links I’ve been saving up to share. This is the sourdough discard cracker recipe that I’ve made twice now. But first, I massaged the kale in a miso tamari… Read more >

Candied nuts

A friend gifted me a couple of bags of walnuts long before this covid ish all went down and they have been in the freezer just waiting for something special. She has them in excess because her family farms them and she doesn’t even like them (can you imagine!!) so I told her I would be VERY happy to take some off her hands. That was back in February. Sure enough, next time I saw her at church she had two huge bags ready for me. These are the perks of living in an ag… Read more >
