Ensalada triste

Last I left off, we were finishing lunch at Mama Terra…and heading to one of Sevilla’s most impressive sites, Plaza de Espana. When I studied abroad in 2002, the entire plaza was fenced off and covered in green mesh due to construction.  So I had never seen the famous square with it’s tiled alcoves representing each province of Spain.  I took a photo in the alcove of my favorite province (BCN). Mrs. Housewife

Since I have been feeling too ill to work out, I’ve focused my energy elsewhere.  And I have so many recipes coming your way as a result! The perfect home-made veggie burger. Tofu Thai fry. Blueberry pancakes. Kale and seitan salad. Peanut butter and banana oatmeal blondies. Get excited!

Sharing is caring

I have a few things I’m realllly into right now, and I feel like sharing them. 1. Our weekend farmer’s market routine. I got 3 bunches of kale, 4 zucchini, 2 yellow squash, 3 ears of corn and a partridge in a pear tree for $9. 2. Ally McBeal I never watched this show when it was on in the 90’s but I am loving it right now.  I had the urge to start watching it after reading Portia De Rossi’s book (whoa intense btw).  Fortunately Netflix has the show on demand.  Being sick (read:… Read more >
