Aside from the potatoes…

It was a great Thanksgiving!!! WEEEE!!  All the things I’m most thankful for are in the picture above.  This time of year is very reflective for me (and probably most everyone feels the same) and I just want to pinch myself when I look around at my life. We didn’t go over to my parents’ house until later in the morning, so I worked out and ate breakfast in Davis.  Gotta start the day off right with some Nourish bread and almond butter…get ready stomach!?  You have no idea what’s coming your way… To my… Read more >

I packed too much stuff in

Literally and figuratively I packed WAY TOO much in over the Thanksgiving weekend. I hardly know where to start. Isn’t this view gorgeous! While they were gone I went to stroller strides (without a stroller!), went grocery shopping for the Thanksgiving dishes I’m making, and helped Santa out with his stocking shopping. 😉  Since Black Friday sales have mostly already started I just decided to finish all my shopping now.  So I did.  Check!  It… Read more >

School’s out

Gonna ma e this short and sweet because the kids have no school this week and it’s makin’ me craaaaazy!  How many art projects can we do in three days?  I’ll let you know if I get to the end and find out. Breakfast: Nourish bread and almond butter Lunch: Thai steak salad I decided to skip grocery shopping and clean out every single thing we have in the fridge before Thanksgiving, which unfortunately meant my lunch salad was made with some odds and ends of lettuce.  But you know what? It was so good… Read more >
