I don’t have a particularly fantastic work schedule at the moment, but at least I’m on day shift for the entire month. So I’m certainly not complaining! After a sweaty morning sesh with Jillian, I enjoyed a scone before heading into the office hospital. Here’s the stash I brought along. What a snack scene! That would be, dehydrated apple rings, dark chocolate covered edamame, candied ginger, Nature’s Path Chococonut bar, mini PB cookie Larabar, mixed dried fruit, and a baggie of home-made cereal/nut/dried fruit trail mix. Breakfast number two was oats with a… Read more >

I’d try to label these meals, but since I’m still on a bizarre night shift schedule breakfast is dinner, dinner is lunch, up is down, left is right…who knows…time is irrelevant in my life now. I’m not really normal anymore. I made a PB & AB sando. Yeah, skip the jelly, my sandwich was all about nutbutters. I ate some straight outta the jar too. I have no shame. So here’s the deal. Fact: I drink a lot of tea. Connoisseur that I am, I go through my fair share of newbies on a regular basis. There are just so friggin’ many, it would be a shame to miss out on what could be my tea next obsession due to a lack of taste testing. And yet, there’s nothing… Read more >

Happy (belated) St. Patrick’s Day! I seriously forgot to wear green – yikes! My grandpa would disown me if he knew such a thing! This is also the first St. Patty’s in a long time that I didn’t celebrate with green beer. I’ll try and make up for it this weekend. But more on those plans later. I definitely had a rough time waking up yesterday morning. It didn’t help that midnight came and went and I was still awake… My alarm buzzed me back to life at 4:20, at which point Jillian and I… Read more >
