Knowing my friends are frolicking in the sun while I’m begging patients to go on walks and administering suppositories…it’s tough. I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s impossible to make crock-pot meals look appetizing. The night before photo looks like tomato and almond milk soup. Gross. The next morning photo looks like old crusty cornbread. Double gross. Around 4 pm, I hit a wall. Kyle did too. One cup of coffee and one hour of sleep do not make a winning pair. Starbucks run! Our first day in DC was a really productive one. We were up and out the door at a pretty impressive time.
