This past (long) weekend was important for family time because Kyle headed back out of town for business on Tuesday morning (after being away the previous week). Gotta soak it up for the few days he’s around! I made a major mistake and didn’t say decaf when I ordered this (venti soy misto) before we hit the road to come home from NorCal. I was very perky! I hope P didn’t get as high as I did off the caffeine! Oops!! The rest of the road trip was similar to the first one – Kyle and I traded off driving duties and our little man slept 99% of the time. Not a typical statement (or opinion). For me at least. But I’m being honest here. Between the hours of noon and 5 pm, I graze. Meals have no room here anymore. And I’m not super proud of what has been going in my mouth this last week. It’s not terrible stuff. But it still leaves me feeling blah. I can do better. I miss well balanced full meals. I feel like I’m clinging onto summer with this breakfast. Home-made banana pancakes with strawberries and peaches. This was my first sweet breakfast in a long time. I finally finished off that massive batch of vegan gluten free pancakes that I made a while back, so I had to do actual work in the morning for these.
