When my alarm goes off in the morning, I get up immediately. I never hit snooze. Ever. So yesterday it went off at 4:25 am and I popped out of bed ready to start my day the best way I know how. However, after 46 seconds (give or take a few), I quickly came to the conclusion that working out was a bad idea. My head was a throbbing mess and my eyes were all puffy. [I have since discovered that I’m slightly allergic to the gorgeous bouquet Kyle got me for Valentine’s Day] So… Read more >

Love. Love. Love. You can pretty much slap any romantic words in front of a meal name on the 14th and it’s instantly a cupid-themed treat, right? (Well, maybe not mushy) This morning’s oats were anything but ordinary – they were hot and steamy. 🙂 The add ins were semi-special. Mostly because there was no moderation whatsoever in the amounts used. Sure it looks like a simple spoonful of raw almond butter above, but I actually added in the entire remaining portion seen below. I also added the whole banana into the oats when they… Read more >

If it’s a Valentine’s Day present you’re looking for, it’s a present you’re gonna get. When I made this vegan triple coconut “cheesecake” a couple of weeks ago, several people commented that they had no clue where to get coconut flour. Ask and you shall receive. Tropical Traditions has offered to give one lucky reader a 1 kg bag of organic coconut flour (identical to what I used in this recipe). My recipe is crazy good, but there are so many other delicious ways to use coconut flour. I’ve been adding it to my oats… Read more >

…and a dollar letter short. I’ll be back with the alphebruary eats later (g and h happened but my energy needs to be higher to share the deets). Work eats, however, don’t call for much brain power. I’m not saying they were mindlessly dull…but I kinda am ;) Kidding! [But they were VERY similar] I’ve been on a fruity tooty kick lately. Starting the day with water, Jillian, coffee, coffee, and fruit, fruit, fruit. Because it’s sunny and I’m downing fresh strawberries and blueberries constantly, I feel like next week should be the 4th of… Read more >
