Two on, one off

I don’t have a particularly fantastic work schedule at the moment, but at least I’m on day shift for the entire month.  So I’m certainly not complaining! After a sweaty morning sesh with Jillian, I enjoyed a scone before heading into the office hospital.  Here’s the stash I brought along. The mystery pasta

You guys are HILARIOUS!  I loved the guesses about my pasta’s hidden ingredients.  To back up a bit.  A few days ago, I had a typical oatmeal breakfast with strawberries, raisins, and peanut butter.   But then I added Love Grown Raisin Almond Crunch Oat Clusters of Love…    All I have to say is: damn.    This is definitely their best flavor – and that’s saying a lot because I friggin’ adored their other granola flavors (especially cocoa).   I couldn’t stop.  Next thing I knew, I saw the bottom of the bag.  Yikes!  Needless… Read more >

Much ado about nothing

Well, that whole 405 “carmaggedon” thing turned out to be quite a bust. After hearing months and months of hype, I think everyone was expecting the worst…which caused people to take extraordinary measures (like riding your bike to work and then spending the weekend sleeping over at your cousin’s house). ***Edited to add**** I just realized this is my 1,000th post.  Crazy!  I might have to celebrate with a giveaway soon! Presents from patients

Since I am working all day shifts this month (hooray!)
