Round 2! Actually, if you count the Thanksmas we had in Tahoe earlier in December with Kyle’s family, this is really our third Christmas. No such thing as too much celebrating, right?! Especially when it’s baby’s first Christmas. We got to my parents’ house just in time for a few cookies. Which provided the perfect fuel for the Niners’ game. From Davis, it’s not too long of a car ride to Lake Tahoe! And since we left straight from swim lessons (again!), we had a sleepy babe for 80% of the ride. Where to start. Last week was an interesting one for us…turns out Patty-cakes is allergic to peanuts. And maybe more, but we won’t know much more for sure until we meet with the allergist. Needless to say, it was one of the scariest times of my life. I swear, nothing can prepare you for parenting. Swim lessons always wear P out so I timed the 50 minute drive to my parents’ house accordingly. We left straight from the pool in Davis and patty-cakes slept the ENTIRE drive (!!!). He hates car rides nowadays so this was huge. I even took advantage of the drive thru Starbucks in Dixon. 🙂 After hanging out with my mom for a bit I made some lunch with leftovers in their fridge.
