Here’s the festive Christmas scene at La Boulange in Lafayette. They have several stores, actually, all across the Bay Area – including several in SF and Marin. As I mentioned in a previous post, the place reminds me of LPQ. They both give off the casual European bakery vibe, while making your tongue wag at the display case of delicious pastries. I really don’t like this new UC logo. I’m saving the Daily Bruin crossword for Friday because our baby dresser/changing table is going to be delivered sometime between 12 and 4 pm. That’s a lot of waiting around time that I need to fill. But I am SO excited about this dresser (nursery photos to come). Oh, and in case you couldn’t guess, that breakfast was GF toast with Earth Balance and two perfectly fried eggs. This weekend was just plain awesome. I don’t know what else to say. My sister came to visit. My friends threw me a baby shower. And I just felt so loved. And fortunate. Things are good. Thursday night was tree decorating and burrito bar. On Friday, my sister arrived!
