No seriously. She has never let me down; not once. I love her recipes so much that her cookbook, Clean Food, was the only one that escaped a 3 month hibernation (in a So Cal storage facility). Everything else was packed up in NYC, shipped off to a remote location in LA, and has been waiting for us to move into our new Santa Monica apartment…but I just couldn’t part with this one. Sure, my SoniCare toothbrush I forget, but not my beloved cookbook. Priorities people, priorities. Anyways, in an effort to expand my in-laws’… Read more >

After a full day of driving (11 hours to be exact), Kyle and I arrived at our hotel in downtown Portland just after 5 pm. He was ready to pass out, but I wasn’t going down without a fight workout and vegan meal in me first. I dragged (to the fullest sense of the word) my poor fiancé to the hotel gym for a measly 20 minutes on the elliptical. It wasn’t all bad, though. I promised a giveaway, but I just don’t have it in me tonight. Blogger fail. I do have last night’s dinner, though. When I got home I was in such a wretched mood, I really wasn’t hungry. Sometimes my appetite shuts down shop when I get so worked up…it’s like I am so emotionally drained I can’t even think about anything, food included. I decided to shower, which really helped calm me down and by the time I was de-patient-ified, I was ready to make dinner. What do you do when you are worked up? … Read more >
