Work meal ideas

Contrary to what my posting may indicate, I do still work!  Sorry I’ve been withholding my packed eats from you guys.  I have only been taking pictures of 50% of them, though, so here’s what I’ve got.  Hope this helps you with some ideas! Oats.  Veggies.  Pretzels.  Sabra hummus (x2).  Lasagna (leftover).  Cookies.  Apple.  Candied ginger. Parties & Dates

After a long work week, Kyle and I soaked up the weekend like two sponges.  And of course, I’m only just now getting around to blogging about it.  So pathetic.  But let’s just pretend this is timely and the weekend was yesterday, okay? New shades & raw food

Just a typical morning bowl of oatmeal. The weird part about this breakfast was how I picked around the nuts.  I don’t know why, but I wasn’t in to them this morning.  The cinnamon and maple syrup were all the topping I needed.   After breakfast I set to work on mega errands.  Our laundry needed to be done immediately (our clothes reeked of smoke from our weekend away).  On top of that we had dirty dishes, an empty fridge, a thirsty tomato plant, and much much more.  To do list, game on.  Eventually, I… Read more >

Still at it

I’ve been blogging for over 4 years. I know this because I remember Michael Phelps’ record relay swim was the very first day I blogged.  It’s hard to forget something that memorable.  Especially since I was at Boat Basin with friends and the scene was insane.  In a good way. Daily eats

  My breakfast was home-made bread (hence the poor slicing) with almond butter.  I used up almost the very last bit of it, so I decided to make another batch of nut butter.    This time with peanuts.  Roasted peanuts to be exact.
