Such a productive day! First and foremost, I set up a job interview (hooray!), so…yeah. There’s that. But in addition to my latest career progress, I tackled more things on my to-do list and ate some amazing meals. The night before bed I threw together a tupperware full of overnight oats. I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I do like my oats raw. When I was young I ate Quaker’s packets with milk like cold cereal. I guess today’s overnight oats are just the more nutritious version… I wonder how long 2 1/2 pounds… Read more >

You guys are so sweet. I was simply floored by the response to my wedding post – your comments were overwhelmingly kind. I felt like the luckiest girl on the planet that day, so I guess it came through in the photos. I’ll try and get the second half of the big day posted soon, but I don’t have pictures of the food yet (I didn’t bring my camera to the wedding – the horror!!). Don’t worry, I made sure the photographer captured my meal on film (I am a food blogger after all). So… Read more >

This beauty, known as Grouse Mountain, is just 15 minutes north of Vancouver, and is open year-round, with Skyrides (seen above) to bring you up the steep 2 mile mountainside overlooking some of the most drop-dead gorgeous views of Vancouver, Washington, and beyond… Seriously, the pictures don’t even do… Read more >

Although the weather has chilled a bit now, our first few days in Washington were hot, hot hot! We made sure to soak up the warmth. Kyle washed our bug-coated car…while I cheered him on from the sidelines 😉 Sunshine + NuNatural lemonade/water + The Help + my shirtless fiancé = my perfect summer day And then it got even better! The kiddos arrived! Oh my goodness, they are even more adorable than I remembered, and growing up so fast. I was like a psycho paparazzi woman…but it’s hard to not go camera crazy around… Read more >
