Multi-tasking like whoa

When are you most productive in the day?  Are you a morning person?  I’m not.  I don’t feel like cooking or baking in the morning (which is why I pack my work food the night before).  I generally hit my stride in the early afternoon, but every once in a while I’ll have a late night frenzy in the kitch. Day 10: Day trip to town

Due to poor weather conditions, we didn’t have much desire to venture away from our hotel in Uruguay.  However, we did make it into town one day.   We walked there (tricked into thinking it was just a stroll down the beach) and it was drizzling nearly the entire time.  But at least we got to see Punta Del Este’s main attraction. Working then eating

Work food.     I didn’t take photos of my breakfast oats because they’re monotonous and (quite frankly) snooze-inducing at this point. Can I get a virtual high five for weaning myself down to ZERO pieces of gum?!  Heyooo!  More on that on my FODMAPs site. Post-work food. Herbed bread twists made from scratch [vegan].  They are like little pillows of carbohydrate heaven. Brown rice & veggie quiche [vegetarian, gluten free].  A twist on this recipe. Phoning it in

Weekend by iPhone.  Ready, go! Saturday I had an open faced breakfast sando with avocado and two fried eggs. Then Kyle’s parents came over and we went to Hollywood. We had tickets to see Jerry Seinfeld do stand-up at the Pantages theatre. So excited!! We parked at Hollywood & Highlands and walked to get an early dinner at Tender Greens.  It wasn’t [yet] rainy, but it was cold and windy, so I was definitely ready for something warm. While you were sleeping

I was working.  And eating.  Here’s three shifts-worth of food.   Tuesday night: spinach, carrots, quinoa and eggs (topped in Bragg’s and nooch) baby carrots tamari roasted almonds Udi’s bread with Artisana cashew-tahini butter Kettle Pop organic kettle corn Not much to say here.  It tasted like kettle corn.  Duh.   Wednesday night: brown rice, spinach, and Sunshine veggie burger (original) baby carrots Inka Chips sweet plantain chips So good!  Even though the whole bag is considered 3 servings (which I obviously ignored and treated as a single serving), the nutritional info is still not bad….
