Knowing my friends are frolicking in the sun while I’m begging patients to go on walks and administering suppositories…it’s tough. Last morning in Philly! Rather than trek into Center City again, we stayed in our ‘hood for breakfast. Even though they are right next to each other, I’m not very familiar with either Penn or Drexel’s campus. Because I was in the accelerated nursing program at Drexel I spent nearly all of my time in Center City. I got over 10 hours of sleep but still slept in quite a bit on Saturday. So did my parents and Kyle. Eventually we made our way to center city for brunch. Ready for an unconventional breakfast? Tea in a coffee cup. Why I felt like this as opposed to this is a mystery. By the way, this photo is false advertising since I added a hefty pour of almond milk afterwards. I like my tea (and coffee) the color of the discontinued light brown M&M’s. Creamy.
