As you all know by now, Sabra courses through my veins like no other. So you can imagine how excited I was last week to find out that THIS was going down on Sunday. Sabra “transformed” Union Square into a Mediterranean Cafe…with samples upon samples upon samples of hummus! Are you there God, it’s me Elise hummus queen? K, if this isn’t reason enough to visit, I don’t think there’s anything more I can offer you? Here I am with one of my 6 free samples of classic hummus and Stacy’s pita chips. They also… Read more >

Yes! About 4 days behind. I showed you all my eats throughout the day, but no dinners. So, I guess I have some blogging to do, huh? But before I get to that, thank you all SO much for your kind comments about my past few days at work. I was a little nervous about writing a more emotional post about my job (and not food), but the comments that flooded after proved I had nothing to worry about. Not the kind of breakfast I usually go for, but my tums was grrrrrowling, so I knew it needed to have some staying power. This beautiful bowl included cinnamon-raisin-almond granola, fresh blueberries, and frozen banana slices. I love the way milk coats frozen fruit and makes a… Read more >

Work day = Packed lunch. Sometimes I feel like I’m the only person who brings lunch to work. I don’t get it!? There are a few things that baffle me about this, the first being the price of buying food on a daily basis. Sure, I can understand a treat once in a while, but every day? That adds up! Second, I don’t understand how people can leave their house without any preparation should they get hungry. I know I have a job unlike most other people. I don’t have the luxury of choosing when… Read more >
