Ooze is a funny word because it’s either a really bad thing (puss from a wound?) or a really really good thing (caramel and chocolate from a cupcake center). I hate to bring up puss before sharing these photos, but I think you’ll agree they are delicious enough to overcome the gross introduction. It’s been a long time since I did a “what I ate in a day” style post, but I feel like returning to my OG format for the a moment. Here goes. Breakfast: Vegan & GF pancakes (made with Bob’s Red Mill mix and almond milk). I didn’t use any kind of vegan egg substitute, I just left it out. Not meatballs. I should have made a bigger batch of these coconut macaroon things because Kyle ate half of them before I even tried one. Work food. Banana. Carrots. Macaroons. Ordinarily I don’t mind floating, but today I was SO not in the mood for it. Fish out of water x 12 hours…blah. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes it’s nice to spend a day with a different patient population – like sampling yogurt, you get a small taste without having to commit.
