I am ALL out of sorts. Yesterday (?) I went to bed around noon thinking I’d sleep til 5 and then get ready to head back in to work. How’d that work out?? Yeah. Not so much. I ended up watching the latest episode of Glee (check out the creepy scene I paused it on) after tossing and turning in bed. It’s hard to sleep when it’s light out and my body is all jacked up on caffeine. I realize a mega caffeine Starbucks order wasn’t the wisest choice after being awake for 24 consecutive… Read more >

I had packed many food options for the road since I was convinced it was going to take us 8 hours. In the end, we arrived by 2 pm. I’ve been busy busy busy working this week…and even though I haven’t exercised for even half a second (blah), it’s all worth it because I get to spend the weekend with some fantastic friends. My packed lunches have been incredible if I do say so myself. Satisfying my every want and need – sweet, savory, crunchy, creamy – you name it, I packed it. It’s all about options people. The main ingredients in these Heart Thrive cookies were oats, brown rice syrup, brown rice flour, rice bran, natural fruit juices, and lots of dried fruit… Read more >

I really enjoyed all your giveaway entries. Sounds like we are all very similar in what we enjoy doing on our days off – relaxing! As per random generator, the winner of the $65 CSN stores giveaway is Grace, who said: “I would definitely do a ton of gardening and then of course, cook! There is nothing better than tasty food that you can take the time to prepare.” Congrats Grace! I have yet another giveaway coming soon, but I’m kinda up to my knees getting adjusted with my new work schedule. Until then, here’s… Read more >
