I almost titled this post Easter “hop”penings. Too cheesy? I agree. Every once in a while I’m able to deny the puns (sorry dad). The night before Easter Sunday we had some family visitors come over to see P…and bring us dinner! I made a major mistake and didn’t say decaf when I ordered this (venti soy misto) before we hit the road to come home from NorCal. I was very perky! I hope P didn’t get as high as I did off the caffeine! Oops!! The rest of the road trip was similar to the first one – Kyle and I traded off driving duties and our little man slept 99% of the time. This past weekend was the first time in a couple of years that I skipped Expo West. I had a ticket and everything, but I just didn’t see the point in trying to make it work. I guess this is evidence that my priorities have shifted. I like free samples and keeping on pulse with the latest natural food trends, but I like family bonding time more. Really you don’t need a slow cooker to make this. I just used mine because I wanted to have the option to leave the house…you know just in case I felt like going on a run or doing something active (hahahaha!). I felt ridiculous even as I typed that…the end of this pregnancy has turned me into a sloth.
