Cough-E & a Caramel Apple Diggin’ the froth? Do it! Do the Stonyfield people know that their Oikos greek yogurt is borderline sinful when combined with apples? Caramel apples for breakfast with NO guilt whatsoever? Uh, that gets two thumbs up. Now that’s a dessert that Gigi can start her day with, controversy free. Maybe. Lunch was so boring, I almost don’t want to show it. Boca vegan burgers open faced on Vermont soft wheat bread with Tribe roasted red pepper hummus. You can’t go wrong when combining bread and hummus, so as basic as this… Read more >

Mine was fabulous. Kyle may or may not kill me for posting that picture. But it’s worth it. I had to show you all how adorbz my beau is! Getting serenaded while eating an apple/cinnamon dessert on the late night – is there a better way to spend your Friday night? I think not. But back to the AM. Breakfast of champions indeed. I really tested my stomach’s expansion ability with this one. First of all that coffee mug was the size of my head (and I had 2 of ‘em filled to the brim),… Read more >

Even though I’m predominantly Irish and German, I can’t help but wonder if there is a long lost Mediterranean family member. How else do you explain the POUNDS of hummus I consume on a daily basis?? (…not to mention my love affairs with falafel, beans, and fresh veg salads…) Does your heritage creep it’s way into your diet? Or do you have love for foreign flavors? Even though part of my family is Japanese (not by blood), white rice was never really something I got into…although it did make for some very tasty (albeit unconventional)… Read more >

Let’s get down to it. Woke up at 4:45, hopped on the subway, fueled up at the ‘bucks, and started my day. Do I really need to explain these? My work day eats are so boring and repetitive. I’ll admit, it’s a little heavy on the dried fruit…but my fiancé is in the Jerz for a conference, so…you know…(wink wink) I had lots of coffee, too. It was v. necessary since I was yawning at a rate of 7 times/minute. The day was pretty chill…there were no cases today, and my other patients were… Read more >

Hi Kids! How are you all on this fine Monday! I’m feeling pretty fab myself, despite the 50 degree weather. I thought winter was over, but apparently not… After yesterday’s late night grub sesh I thought I wouldn’t be very hungry until later in the morning, but I woke up with the same hankering appetite as usual. I guess that just goes to show you, when you listen to your body (even if it tells you it wants 4 Vita Muffins with peanut butter at 11 PM), you can’t do too much damage. I’d also… Read more >
