Even though I got the 31st and 1st off of work, I was still at the hospital for the rest of 2010. And so before ringing in the New Year, I packed up my lunches as per usual. The above is what I call operation use-up-leftovers. Chopped NutsOnline dried figs + golden delicious apples + quinoa seasoned with stevia and cinnamon… Read more >

Then, I set up shop on our dining room chairs and read blogs, write, and do whatever internet related errands I’ve put off for the past few days. All while enjoying coffee. Happy October! (source) I love love love this month. I probably always mention this, but October is my favorite month of the year. It’s Halloween, the (real) onset of Autumn, and several family birthdays – including mine!! And who doesn’t like their birth month?!? So yeah, I’m always excited when October arrives. Even more exciting? Today I signed all my job paperwork, so my date of hire is 10/1/10. I’m a big numbers freak, and that’s about as good as it gets. My favorite number is 5 and if you really want to know more… Read more >

This is gonna be snappy because I’m tired and grumpy. AM: I made some java with silk and sf vanilla syrup…which I sipped while doing some mega apartment cleaning. I had an apple for a mid-morning snack. Thrilling, I know. And then the fun began…that’s right, I’m talking March Madness!!! A few quarters under way, I got lunch ready. I don’t… Read more >
