Sick

The title of this post should have been vomit-ville, but I that’s a little gross.  I have no idea what happened today…I was at work, going about my business, saving lives, you know the deal, when suddenly I started feeling pretty yuck.  Fortunately, it was already after 6 pm so I knew I only had to make it ‘til 7 and then I could figure out how to remedy my tummy sitch.  I didn’t eat anything weird for lunch, in fact, it was pretty much the same as yesterday. Sammie (in re-re-re-recycled tin foil) with… Read more >

Oh, it hit the fan alright!

I apologize for being away (I missed you all, even if you didn’t notice I was gone, haha).  These past few days have been insane.  I can’t even begin to try to condense it into a blog-worthy Cliff’s notes version.  So… (a) I was working a LOT – gotta get the cash flow to pay those billz, yo! I also had a blueberry Chobz.  I am really loving these flavored ones.  I think blueberry is my… Read more >

Discovery!! Hot water and a shot of POM = yummmmmm! I woke up with a grrrrowling stomach, so I knew I had to have something before I hit the subway. But I’m not a fan of eating first thing in the morning (my tum tum doesn’t handle it well for some reason), so this warm POM water was a great discovery – might become a ritual, because it got me perked right up (AND it’s caffeine free). Naturally I still stopped at the ‘bucks on the way to work for the real deal. I packed… Read more >

WHAT am I going to do now that Top Chef is over? I miss Padma and Tom already 🙁 To answer a few questions I got last post about my sushi skillz: I do have a sushi making kit that I got from Kyle a few years ago. It was a surprise anniversary present (I swear, I have THE most thoughtful BF). Since we lived in San Francisco at the time, we got tons of fresh stuff at the market in the Ferry Building (on of my fave places) and then we got even more… Read more >
