Since we were leaving town for my birthday, we celebrated it a bit early.
It was literally the most perfect Sunday ever.
We started with a lazy morning of coffee and pancakes. Followed by football. IN THE HOT TUB.
The spa arrived the week before, so we were able to do the last few things that needed to happen before our inspection took place, and now everything is 100% done and it feels like the biggest weight off my shoulders.
And we can fully enjoy the yard without wondering who will come wandering in through which side gate randomly throughout the day to do part of who knows what project.
The garden is really getting going too!
It was a super awesome day. We never even went inside (until showers before bed)!
After dinner I got to open my presents. š
I told Kyle I didn’t want any gifts (because I don’t need anything) and requested chocolate “from the kids”.
And boy did they deliver!!!
I may be personally responsible for keeping the Sees in Davis afloat during covid. š
A role I am happy to take on.
And now that we are back from Hawaii the temps have dropped and I don’t see bathing suits in the backyard in our future, so I am very glad we got this day!
