After days of fake news (rainy forecasts that weren’t), the storm finally hit us on Monday.   I made Kyle start Little Fires Everywhere so I would have someone to discuss it with and he dove right in. Oh, and Happy Easter! The second place we stayed at was Honua Kai, which is just north of the new Westin complex (Nanea) in Ka’anapali and has Duke’s Restaurant at the poolside.  It’s pretty fancy shmancy.  We rented it on vrbo and it was perfect. Breakfast for the kids above, breakfast for the adults below. Weather forecasts are such a joke.  Foolishly, we keep looking and planning based on what we see and as it turns out, 99% of the time it’s sunny. So we have been living at the pool. Is still warm!! By now you guys must know what a sucker for warm weather I am. My mood is dictated by the sun so I am truly in heaven right now. And even rain storms passing through don’t bother me because IT IS STILL WARM. Hawaii is heaven.
