Thanksgiving week

When I was first planning the week’s menu, I didn’t know if we were going to see any family on Thanksgiving…so I planned to make thanksgiving fare all week long so we wouldn’t miss out (but I also wouldn’t have to cook a huge feast all in one day). AM in the PM

Who likes breakfast for dinner??? Ok, more like who doesn’t like breakfast for dinner? It’s a classic! Especially when you are running behind and can’t get your sh!t together in time to make a real meal. Special son weekend

Kyle and I got some two-on-one time with our big boy this past weekend and it was so so special. Meanwhile, my parents had Valley for their own special time. We took the opportunity to do a bunch of his favorite things (reading books, playing pokemon, hot tubbing, crafts, and throwing the football), while also getting in some one-on-one time for each of us. Breakfast lunch and dinner

Who doesn’t like starting the day with pancakes!! In PJs no less! Side note: Who needs a haircut?? This is the Brussels sprout meal kit from TJs and it is A+++! I followed the directions – sautéing the Brussels in oil, tossing in the dressing, and then adding hazelnuts and cheese on top. It was so easy to make and I will definitely buy this again. Take out from Huku

I finally did it and got take-out again! It will come as no surprise that I planned it for a particularly busy day, after Kyle had been gone for a week. I needed a break from the kitchen 🙂 if only for one meal. We accidentally over ordered (by a lot), but it was fine because then we had leftovers for lunch the next day.
