Kyle and I have now been married a decade! How amazing is that!? In truth, it doesn’t seem like that long, but then again, we have done a lot in those ten years! We are getting to the points in our lives where we will have known each other for more than we haven’t – which is crazy! We started dating six years before we were married, so it’s going to be here before we know it!
We had no real opportunity to “celebrate” due to the unfortunate timing of things, but my parents did take the kids for the weekend so even the alone time was a nice change. Otherwise, the smoke from the surrounding fires and pandemic kept us inside 24/7. Sometimes being bored is ok. I typically fill any empty time slots with errands and house work, but I tried to relax as much as possible this time, knowing we were heading into a VERY tough week with the start of “school” (aka distance learning).
