A long time ago I requested this weekend off work for the Foodbuzz Festival in SF. The reasons I like going are obvious ones…
You get to meet all your favorite blog friends…
You get wined beered and dined… [if you have great friends they will help you out when your hands are full]
And you get to do it all in the city by the Bay…
Nothing beats it.
Add to it a trip home to see your family and it seems like the perfect weekend, right?
Perhaps it would have been, but I’m currently in Santa Monica not San Francisco…so I’ll never know.
The reasons I’m not going are less obvious, but equally as important. Yes, I bought a ticket, but I decided last week that being a bum with my beau would be better for me. And better for him.
So that’s what I’m doing.
[in truth, my decision not to attend the festival had little to do with Kyle but I may as well let him think otherwise]
To everyone at Foodbuzz this year, enjoy an extra glass of vino for me…
I’ll have an extra vegan dough ball for you.
Or two.
The winner of the signed copy of Brendan Brazier’s book Thrive Foods will be up tomorrow so if you haven’t already, be sure to enter now.
I know how much you loved every second of FBuzz last year…I didn’t know if you were going or not this year. I assumed you were and thought I remember reading somewhere that you were going…but from this post, you clearly decided to stay home. Hope everything is ok…
And the dough balls (and vino) sound great.
I hope I win the book! I’ve been dying to read it, then I want to pass it off to my man to read as well.
I will take 2 dough balls, please.
I can’t believe that was a year ago already, can you?! It was so nice to meet you and hang out for a bit with all the fabulous ladies you roomed with 😉 I hope it’s not the last time!
did you go this year?
I hope you have a wonderful weekend at home with your main man, Elise! 🙂 xyx
it wouldn’t have been fun without us there, anyway 😉
Happy Birthday, Elise!
