I don’t accept many samples. I never did, but I do even fewer now that I blog so infrequently. But FODMAPs research is near and dear to my heart, so I felt compelled to test out this bar by the lovely Jesse and Kate Watson.
They contacted me a while ago – in the early-ish stages of their company and I was more than happy to help in any way I could, namely spreading the word about their growing business. Having a husband who survived one start up (out of two), I have a soft spot for entrepreneurs I think. But all that aside, this bar is great and I hope the company can survive so they get produced for the masses!
The sample I received was a bite sized serving, which was delicious. And I felt great after eating it, which is of course important given the target audience of the product.
The best part was, it was peanut butter flavored bar, which is basically non-existent in our house now (due to P’s allergies), making it a HUGE treat.
SO now I get to tell you about the company, Nicer Foods, and about their kickstarter campaign…and how you can help get it off the ground.

Thanks guys!
